Under the obvious influence of Canadian cult acts such as SKINNY PUPPY and FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, FÏX8:SËD8 has developed his own inimitable style, which is oscillating between dark electronics and catchy passages. FÏX8:SËD8 have established their own soundscapes by continuously moving away from their musical paragons, which resembles the development of artistic soulmates such as MENTALLO & THE FIXER and HAUJOBB. This becomes evidently clear in the unerring songwriting as well as on production-side, which is nearly equally important in the electronic genre.
NER\OGRIS is always about contrasts and opposites. Loud and quiet. Light and dark, right and wrong. Melody and monotony. Always driven by analog warmth and perfected with digital precision. Two man. East and west. Voice and noise. black and grey.
SCHNEIDER, former head of the obscure rhythm’n’noise project AUTOAGGRESSION, returns with the album Yesterday’s Tomorrow Today. A dive down the rabbit hole to the origins of today’s Silicon Valley ideology, as it unfolds in the original words of its pioneers, visionaries, and critics. In an eclectic blend of EBM, techno, IDM, and future pop, voices of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries are set against each other – and hey, it is scary, and there’s no utopia here…
