DJ, producer and entrepreneur - Rich Medina became a legend in the club scene as the founder of the party nights Lil' Ricky's Rib Shack and Jump N Funk. As a producer, he has collaborated with artists like Jill Scott and J Dilla. An elite international DJ who, in the thirty-plus years since he spun his first record, has turned his young love for music into a celebrated career as a platinum-selling record producer, recording artist, poet, journalist, and Ivy League lecturer. As music director at Dante's HiFi, the intimate Miami all-vinyl speakeasy, DJ Rich Medina pulls from more than 40 years behind the decks and a personal record collection hovering somewhere around 40,000. #KICKINUPDUSTATL is DJ Kemit’s iconic monthly all-vinyl 45s party at Echo Room (on the Westside Motor Lounge campus).
