Lisbon Dance Summit Night — Wednesday 29 April Casa Capitão Lisbon Dance Summit’s opening club night takes over Casa Capitão with a multi-floor programme centred around the Warm Stage, a meeting point between internationally established artists and Lisbon’s evolving underground. Australian techno artist Juliet Fox, known for releases on labels such as Drumcode and her high-impact festival and club performances, brings her driving peak-time sound to the main room. She is joined by producer and DJ Joyce Muniz, whose genre-blending productions and releases on imprints including Kompakt have positioned her as a distinctive voice between house, techno and electro. Canadian-Haitian selector Gayance contributes her rhythm-led, globally informed approach to club music, while Portuguese DJ Inês Duarte and vinyl-focused duo OITO//OITO complete a programme rooted in contemporary dancefloor functionality. Luna Semara will also present a collaborative performance alongside a surprise guest. Across the venue, Lisbon queer party Liturgia hosts a showcase on LDS Lab (Piso 2) featuring Bernardo Vaz, Kierastoboy and Nicolle Velcro, artists associated with experimental club formats and alternative nightlife spaces. After midnight, Neverstop takes over the Academy Stage (Piso 1) with Alexjustforfans and Pérola Eduarda, spotlighting emerging local selectors shaping the next wave of the city’s scene.
