No.9 welcomes Chloé French and the New York debut of The NY Tapes a disco-house project shaped by French songwriting, Berlin club culture, and late nights moving between dance floors and city streets.
Swiss-Brazilian by way of New York, Chloé French draws from chanson française and modern club music to build something intimate, romantic, and physical. Her songs balance melodic warmth with rhythm-forward energy, where smoky cafés, effortless glamour, and poetic rebellion still feel alive.
Based in NYC for the past five years, Chloé is a Clive Davis Institute / NYU alum whose earlier work lived in pop-folk and songwriting spaces. The NY Tapes marks a new chapte, her first project written and sung in French and a clear shift toward music designed for clubs, connection, and motion.
For No.9 Live, Chloé performs live vocals over vinyl-pressed instrumentals, developed with producer Alex Poeppel (Telescreens) out of Kensaltown East Studios. The performance unfolds inside a DJ-led night, blurring the line between live set and dance floor fluid, tactile, and meant to be shared up close.
