RECEBA SHOWCASE / JULIANKNXX’S AFTERPARTY We have teamed up with Julianknxx for the afterparty of his solo exhibition : Chorus in Rememory of flight. Addressing themes such as colonial heritage, loss and belonging, Julianknxx works at the boundaries between the written word, music and visual art. Drawing on his own history, the artist seeks to deconstruct preconceptions about African art, history and culture, working on the black experience of building and rebuilding identities, rejecting labels and creating new collective narratives. We’re extremely happy and excited for this one; we have invited a cutting-edge DJ for this occasion. CHINNAMASTA from Netherlands, SAY3 from Brooklyn, USA, and the local warriors SAMUKA, BANU and R1 hosted by Circa Papi.  The line-up for this edition features hip-hop, R&B, amapiano, future beat and batida. With smoth live performance by Vuglona.
