Salsa Z is teaming up with Miamibloco for our first-ever Samba Z, giving you the confidence you need to step into samba.
This is not a wedding hora loca; this is underground samba. Instructor Michelle Hübel of Miamibloco will teach you the basics of samba no pé, the dance you might recognize from Rio’s Carnaval. As with salsa music, samba is a whole universe. Our class focuses on footwork and lower-body movements so you can dance with us all night.
After class, you can put your new moves to the test for Salsa vs. Samba with Salsa Z’s Safe Stadick and vinyl selector Marcello Bentine. They’ll warm you up for live performances by Sessa and Leo Middea.
