Tresor: Aquabahn

Aquabahn takes its name from the Drexciya track and operates as a platform for electro’s lineage in motion, bringing together pioneers, innovators, and contemporary artists who continue to extend the genre through new hybrids and forward-facing interpretations. The series traces electro not as a closed historical form, but as a living system entering its next phases. The upcoming edition marks the return of Dopplereffekt with a live performance on the Globus stage, celebrating their debut release on Tresor Records. Metasymmetry stands as the first release on the label under the Dopplereffekt name, formalising a relationship with Tresor that stretches back to the club’s earliest years. Ahead of the live set, Mejle, co-founder of Berlin’s Mechatronica, sets the tone, while mad miran brings a contemporary perspective to Aquabahn with her precise, exploratory selections, bridging past, present, and future within the series’ electro continuum.
