Propulsé par les légendaires Memphis Mao (Dum Dum Boys) et Ian Svenonious (Make Up, Chain & The Gang, Escapade-ism), XYZ déploie un rock’n’roll sous tension, oscillant entre murmures inquiétants et cris de rage, entre beats électro et guitares lancinantes, comme si Suicide rencontrait les Cramps lors d’un rituel vaudou. En première partie, un autre live : le concert solo de Martin Daccord, musicien et producteur de rock psyché fraîchement arrivé sur la scène parisienne. Inspiré par les scènes londonienne et new-yorkaise, il a notamment joué avec The Limiñanas, collaboré avec Pascal Comelade, avant de rejoindre l’Olympia Orchestra et les sauvages Fuckboy. Enfin, pour clôturer cette Dark Globe Night, Hervé Carvalho, membre du collectif Acid Arab, explorateur insatiable des beats acid, des rythmes méditerranéens et des dérives psyché, prendra les commandes pour un set dont les habitués des meilleurs clubs européens connaissent la puissance groove. ---- For the first edition of Dark Globe Night, what better way to dive in than with a fever dream of dance and trance rock’n’roll? Driven by the legendary Memphis Mao (Dum Dum Boys) and Ian Svenonious (Make Up, Chain & The Gang, Escapade-ism), XYZ channels a high-voltage trance rock’n’roll energy, swinging between unsettling whispers and cries of rage, a raw collision where electronic beats and haunted guitars meet, as if Suicide met The Cramps at a voodoo ritual. Opening the night, Martin Daccord delivers a solo show blending raw energy and psychedelic tension. A fresh face on the Paris scene, inspired by London and New York’s underground spirit, he’s played with The Limiñanas, collaborated with Pascal Comelade, and is part of both the Olympia Jamming Orchestra and the wild Fuckboy collective. To close the night, Hervé Carvalho, from Acid Arab, tireless explorer of acid beats, Mediterranean rhythms, and psych excursions, takes control with a set bursting with groove, the kind that keeps the best European dance floors alive till sunrise.
