An Evening with LA LOM + Busy Twist Friday, May 1st 2026 18+ | Zaku Stage LA LOM — The Los Angeles League of Musicians — is the LA-born trio of Zac Sokolow (guitar), Jake Faulkner (bass), and Nicholas Baker (drums/percussion). Formed in 2019 during a five-night-a-week residency at the historic Roosevelt Hotel, the group quickly evolved from background performers into architects of a genre-blending sound that reflects LA’s cultural mosaic. Their music reimagines ’50s and ’60s soul ballads through the lens of Mexican boleros, cumbia sonidera, Peruvian chicha, and Bakersfield country, creating a timeless yet distinctly Angeleno atmosphere. With roots in bluegrass, rockabilly, and Latin tradition, LA LOM has grown from hotel-lobby sets to performing for thousands, attracting fans and early support from Beck, Vampire Weekend, and Zane Lowe.
