Buko Bash: A Cultural Arts Fest

Buko Boys — Awktober — Mr Floyd Larry Saturday, June 6th 2026 All Ages | Zaku Stage Buko Bash is a community-driven cultural arts fair celebrating Filipino culture through music, food, and local creatives. The event brings together live performances, curated vendors, and collaborative programming to create an immersive, high-energy experience. It’s designed to spotlight both emerging and established talent while fostering a strong sense of community and cultural connection. “Buko,” meaning “coconut” in Tagalog, encapsulates the vibe of this sun-kissed group hailing from Miami, FL with roots from the Philippines. Steeped in anime-inspired themes, they coined their one-of-a-kind sound as “alt-rock/R&B.” They continue to tour nationally, riding their internet success and headlining stages such as TwitchCon 2025 (San Diego), while making waves in the thriving South Florida indie scene. The band is composed of bassist and lead singer Andy Gil (Mid-Day Moon), guitarist and lead vocalist Raquel Lily, keyboardist and producer Martin Castor, and drummer DiAngelo Gonzalez. In June 2025, Buko Boys released their debut 14-song, self-produced LP, “float.”
