Cat Power celebrates the 20th anniversary of her landmark 2006 album The Greatest with Redux, a three-song EP arriving January 23, 2026 via Domino Recording Company.
Recorded with GRAMMY®-winning engineer Stuart Sikes at Austin’s Church House Studios, the EP reunites her with Dirty Delta Blues—Judah Bauer, Gregg Foreman, Erik Paparozzi, and Jim White. Redux features a newly completed version of James Brown’s “Try Me,” first attempted during the original The Greatest sessions, along with a powerful tribute to Teenie Hodges through Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U.” The EP also includes a reimagined rendition of Marshall’s own “Could We,” inspired by its live arrangement.
Cat Power will honor the album with a special anniversary tour across North America, Europe, and the UK in 2026.
