Formed by Lucio Consolo and Marco Viera, Peces Raros was established in La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in 2014. Known for their continuous, dynamic live performances, the band's sound blends synthesizers, guitars, and electronic textures, all driven by a singular goal: to get people on their feet and dancing. In 2024, the band achieved a major milestone, selling out their debut performance at Buenos Aires' iconic Luna Park, a key venue in Argentina’s music scene. This also marked the release of their fifth studio album, ARTIFICIAL. With a decade of history in the music world, Peces Raros is experiencing a significant rise on the international stage, with 2024 proving to be a defining year that saw the band performing at some of the world’s most prestigious venues. Joined by BALTHVS, who formed in 2020 and in just five years grown to become Colombia’s leading alternative international acts. With over 45 million streams on digital platforms, more than 10,000 vinyl records sold, and nine international tours under their belt, the band has performed in 56 cities across 19 countries and three continents, spreading their chill, groovy psychedelic funk sound worldwide. Starting as SXSW alumni and playing the iconic Austin event for three consecutive years (2022-2024), BALTHVS has also performed at all major Colombian festivals (Festival Centro, Rock al Parque, Estéreo Picnic) and international festivals like Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, Electric Forest, and SXSW Sydney. They’ve made notable appearances on prestigious radio platforms, including KEXP, Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Café, and the BBC.
