Shimo Naps Release Party X Chapelle XIV

Aja & Mami Konishi vous invite à la release party de leur Ep "Shimo Naps". Au programme séance d'écoute au sein de la Chapelle XIV, pour une soirée d'ambient et de voyage mélodique entre la France et le Japon. ----- Born from an encounter initiated in Tokyo in 2024, shimo naps is a collaborative EP by French artist Aja (harp, synths) and Japanese pianist Mami Konishi (piano, synths). Recorded over three days in Shimokitazawa and later shaped remotely, the record preserves the feeling of those suspended moments: the spontaneity, the original sound, and the magic of those unguarded improvisations. The project began with the idea of creating music around the moments between wakefulness and sleep, exploring that fleeting state where the mind begins to wander. The pieces slowly drift into that in-between space, where time slows down and wakefulness begins to fade, giving the EP its name: shimo naps. Cinematic, meditative and hypnotic, shimo naps unfolds in the blurred space where consciousness begins to loosen its grip, a place where sounds linger, time stretches, and the line between listening and dreaming starts to disappear.
