Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Lena Willikens is known for her unconventional, immersive approach to DJing. A former resident of Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs, she developed a style rooted in obscure, experimental sounds, blending synth exploration, proto-industrial rhythms, and unpredictable electronic music into deeply transportive sets. Her work extends beyond the club through her monthly “Lightning Conductor” show on NTS Radio and releases and projects with labels including Dekmantel and Radio Cómeme.
Willikens has curated Dekmantel’s Selectors compilation series, contributed music to the label, and remixed artists including Lena Platonos, rRoxymore, S U R V I V E, and Simian Mobile Disco. She also collaborates with artist Sarah Szczesny on the audio-visual project Phantom Kino Ballett and frequently performs alongside fellow sonic explorer Vladimir Ivkovic. Whether DJing solo or collaboratively, Willikens embraces unpredictability, moving between dark, strange, and hypnotic sounds to create sets defined by atmosphere, discovery, and controlled chaos.
Vladimir Ivkovic is a Belgrade-born DJ and curator renowned for his adventurous, highly individual approach to music. After developing his craft through underground events and a formative connection with Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs, he became known for weaving obscure, experimental, psychedelic, and genre-defying records into unpredictable, narrative-driven sets. In 2015, he launched Offen Music, a label that reflects his open-minded approach through a diverse catalog spanning Serbian rarities, ambient, synth-pop, and other off-kilter sounds.
A respected figure across the international club and festival circuit, Ivkovic has performed at venues and festivals including Berghain, De School, Primavera Sound, Dekmantel, Houghton, and Unsound, while touring extensively across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, and South America. His influence also extends into radio, with programs and appearances on Red Bull Radio, Noods Radio, Kiosk Radio, and others. Whether behind the decks, curating Offen Music, or broadcasting, Ivkovic approaches music as a storyteller and connoisseur, consistently exploring its darker, stranger, and less-traveled corners.
