Desert Hearts Returns to New York — Sat, Dec 6 at 99 Scott
On Saturday, December 6th, Desert Hearts returns to Brooklyn for a full night of house and techno at 99 Scott, featuring a special b2b from crew founders Mikey, Lee, and Marbs. What began as a renegade gathering in the Mojave Desert has evolved into one of dance music’s most respected collectives—known for its deep community ethos, genre-blending sound, and decade-long legacy of unforgettable events.
The lineup unites the core of the movement: Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, and Marbs. Mikey’s sets fuse the swagger of his hip-hop background with crisp, feel-good house grooves, while Lee Reynolds—the original Papa Lee—draws from decades of California rave history to deliver sets packed with personality and precision. Marbs, co-founder of Desert Hearts Black, dives into darker, more meditative territory, layering atmospheric techno with emotional depth.
Joining the crew is SHADED (Live), whose unmistakable blend of bass-driven funk, psychedelic tones, and warped melodies has defined releases on Turbo, Senso Sounds, and SCI+TEC, earning praise from Loco Dice, Dubfire, and The Martinez Brothers.
Setting the tone for the night is Brooklyn’s CЯSPY, a rising force in the city’s underground scene. Inspired by Dirtybird and Desert Hearts, he’s known for his renegade energy and inventive pop-up events like the “KiNDEЯDiSCO” series on the Williamsburg Bridge.
A Desert Hearts party is always more than just a show—it’s a gathering built on connection, creativity, and freedom on the dance floor. Join the family at 99 Scott on December 6th for a night that captures the true spirit of underground house and techno.
