Antal X Fold (Daytime)

This December sees Antal making his debut in these halls, in a rare daytime edition from London’s tastemakers, Rotation Policy As co-founder of the influential Dutch label, Rush Hour, the self-described ‘musicologist’ has led the curation of dance floor experiences for the best part of 30 years now, helping to redefine the world’s view of Amsterdam’s music culture. Truly ‘genre-defying’, where the phrase has begun to show its age, Antal does not; leading his audiences through everything from Chicago house, Detroit techno, Brazilian funk, African soca, jazz, disco, soul, and back again, in refreshing fashion. With his label rapidly approaching its 30 year milestone, Antal now has his sights set on Canning Town this Winter, invited by Rotation Policy to play an extended, four hour set in their first event at FOLD.
