Xol Meissner Live & Joe Lewandowski Dj Set

Ladies and gentlemen, Serpent à Plume is proud to present to its beloved habitués an intimate live performance by Xol Meissner. Xol Meissner is the alias of New York City-based composer Mauro Hertig. Classically trained and named a laureate of the Voix Nouvelles Academy in France in 2019, Hertig regularly incorporated text into his composed works before turning his focus fully to songwriting. His distinctive lap-steel style—originally developed for pieces written for other guitarists—now intertwines with his arresting vocals. The result is Excess of Loss: seven deeply emotive tracks exploring a singular musical world.
