Long before his name became shorthand for a certain strain of hypnotic, late-morning house, Dan was cutting his teeth in small, dim Paris rooms — a path that eventually pulled him toward Ibiza in the late 90s, when the island still felt messy, free, and wide open for anyone willing to push sound past sunrise. There, he became one of the architects of that era’s underground. Years later, what makes Dan Ghenacia a legend is that his sound kept evolving without losing the core of what made him. From founding Apollonia with Shonky and Dyed Soundorom to shaping the DC-10 terrace and touring nonstop, he’s one of the rare ones who defined an era and is still out here carrying that same spirit with unbroken taste.
