Katye X Calle is more than a party. It's a gathering of our community where cultures, stories, neighbors, and organizers come together to defend immigrant communities through joy and celebration. At a time when our families and neighbors are under attack, we’re building something stronger: connection, solidarity, and collective power. This night is about showing up for each other, making it clear that our communities are united and turning culture into resistance. Featuring musical guests Z, Pazmal, and lunchwithmizo, local vendors, and organizations on the ground fighting for immigrant rights. Come learn, connect, and build with us. Grab scissors, magazines, and adhesives of your choice to collage your own page in our collective zine. The prompt? What is the South Florida of Your Wildest Dreams? Despite what we see on the news, the panas are committed to expanding our imagination to the possibilities of what life, community, connection and culture CAN look like for South Florida. Dreaming is one of the most powerful acts of humanity - and the more who join us the closer we get to the vision: "The Future is Local" 🌻 Collage materials will include archival FL and Caribbean images provided by Caribe Pouvwa 🫀 Caribe Pouvwa is a political heart for creatives in Miami, building Caribbean solidarity, critical thought, and cultural impact. Be sure to stop by their table to learn more about their current cultural campaign to instill critical thinking and questioning in community members on local news reporting and narratives pertaining to Miami and the Caribbean 🌀 All ticket proceeds will support local the Guatemalan-Maya Center.
