A Strate is a layer that settles slowly on top of another. That’s how we see music. Strate was born in Liège with a simple idea: put the music back at the centre. Groove, raw and hypnotic techno, built layer by layer. Long, progressive sets that leave real space for the artists’ performances. Sound first. A professional sound system tuned to the venue, powerful but never harsh. A good night starts with what you hear. A local scene. Every artist on this first edition comes from Liège. The city has always had its basements, its collectives and its nights. We want to give it a space that matches. An unusual venue, a limited capacity. No VIP area, no needless staging. Just a space, a sound, and the people who come to listen. Respect. Strate is an open space. Discrimination and harassment will not be tolerated. A dedicated team will be on site all night to look out for everyone. 18+.
