Luquebano Afonso, better known as DJ Lucky. He was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, holds Angolan nationality, and has lived in Portugal since September 1991. Lucky has been part of several deejaying projects such as GetLuckygetFunky, Cadillac Soul, Afro Groove Collective DJ's, and Afro Blu, and since 2019 has worked as an event promoter at Ninho Marimbondo Produções. Eclectic in his music, his DJ sets reflect strong influences from Black music genres such as Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Dub Reggae, Afrobeat, Latin & Brazilian Vibes, Mash-up, Break, and Progressive Beat. A radio host since May 30, 2021, he runs the show "Keep The Light On" on the online radio station Lusophonica.com
