Sailors don’t come here by accident. They come chasing rumors. A treasure buried in the dark. A cove that does not appear on maps. Pirates have been slipping into this place for years, drawn by the same promise of treasure. But all who enter, do not leave the same. They say the treasure is cursed. That the music echoes long after you’ve gone. That once you step inside, the night takes something from you and never gives it back. Still, they return. They always do. On February 27th, we celebrate Book Club Radio's 3rd Anniversary at a hidden pirate cove in Brooklyn. Lanterns sway. Wood beams creak. The music rolls in like the tidewater and the room fills with cutthroats, pirates, and wenches. Calling all pirates. Living and dead. Ghosts of crews that never made it home. Entry requires that you know and respect the Librarian’s Manifesto: 1. Come for the music. 2. Be open to unfamiliar music and sounds. 3. Respect one another. 4. Face each other instead of the DJ. 5. No phones allowed on the dance floor. 6. Dress to express yourself. 7. Dance your heart out. Take the gold if you dare. If you bring a guest, it’s your responsibility to ensure they understand and respect our manifesto. Specific location details are under lock and key, to be revealed to ticket holders only at 10PM the night before the event. Make sure your 21+ ID and ticket are ready. Tickets sold secondhand online to strangers will not be permitted. Refunds are not available. If you need to resell your ticket you can resell to another invitee or release to the waitlist.
