Autarkic is Nadav Spiegel, a producer, dj and songwriter, based in Tel Aviv. As one of the principal building blocks of the new electronic sound coming from Tel Aviv, Autarkic explores the alternative, peripheral edges of this movement, and pushes forward the standard dance-music producer role with his uncompromising versatile artistic vision. With a fearless and unapologetic approach, he combines political and existential messages into his songs and tracks, in contrast to the predominantly escapist nature of electronic music.
