Didier Limonet started his career in 1988 and quickly became a resident DJ at the legendary L’An-Fer club in Dijon. This iconic venue of the French electronic scene gave him the chance to share the decks with some of the biggest international names such as Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Basement Jaxx, Dimitri From Paris, and Bob Sinclar. These encounters shaped his wide musical vision, blending house, techno and underground influences into a distinctive style. In 2006, he stepped into production, curating the compilation “La Villa Rouge 3” on Citizen Records, Vitalic’s label. The same year, he teamed up with Thomas Deschamps aka Nassau, whose acclaimed releases on Yellow Productionsand Soulfuric were supported by legends like Masters At Work, Louie Vega, Kerry Chandler, Pete Tong and Bob Sinclar. Together they founded Ghetto Freaks Productions in 2007, delivering original tracks and remixes for renowned labels such as Henry Street Music, Do It Now Recordings, MAP Dance and Gotta Keep Faith. Since 2021, Didier has continued to push boundaries, joining labels such as Red Island Production, Nu Monkey Records, and Soulstice Records, while performing in clubs and trendsetting venues like Mama Shelter since 2023. In early 2024, he launched two new labels: • InDlu Records, focusing on Afro House and Afro Tech, • My Disco Jam, dedicated to House and Nu-Disco. With more than three decades of experience, spanning from iconic clubs to forward-thinking productions, Didier Limonet remains a passionate and influential figure within the French and international electronic music scene.
