Although Honey I’m Home is a new presence on the scene, they’ve opened for <a href="spotify:artist:1ukEEwzjucRtFTxiw2DrDZ" data-name="Goat Girl">Goat Girl</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:338GHPl8NnzUwqpm6wpqjc" data-name="The Buoys">The Buoys</a> in Berlin and <a href="spotify:artist:5DDuwU1X2Aqdp3CxfXstRe" data-name="Hotline TNT">Hotline TNT</a> in Amsterdam, performed at <a href="spotify:artist:3uwAm6vQy7kWPS2bciKWx9" data-name="girl in red">girl in red</a>’s show at the AFAS Live, and completed two UK tours. The five-piece merges ‘90s alternative rock with a fresh, modern twist on their first single Wishful Thinking. The song is self-recorded and self-produced by the band and mixed by the legendary Sonny Diperri (<a href="spotify:artist:3VNzWLePg9jTvQ2ximYOzW" data-name="julie">julie</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4OrizGCKhOrW6iDDJHN9xd" data-name="DIIV">DIIV</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2YFBqMMiIIL4XyiEwqySUQ" data-name="Protomartyr">Protomartyr</a>). The song was born out of adversity—after the band’s rehearsal space burned to the ground, destroying their amps, guitars, and effects. Since then, the band has been convinced they’re cursed.
