As lead singer for the 15-piece Martinique-based band <a href="spotify:artist:3y21aFfQQ1Y9dALQLIJ4vj">Kassav'</a> since 1984, Jocelyn Beroard helped to lay the foundations of zouk, a popular dance blend of Antillean, Zairean, and European influences.
