Morjane Ténéré is a singer-songwriter inspired by folk, blues and Northern African traditional music. She has performed more than 200 concerts accross Europe. She wears the name “Ténéré” as a talisman. In Tamasheq, a Tuareg language, “Ténéré” means desert. The elements - water, fire, earth and air - permeate her songs. Her music is a ritual, a journey, an initiation. Her voice has the power to move you to tears.
