Bobbi Watson

Sobre

Bobbi Watson is a Brussels-based producer, live performer, and DJ whose background in stage direction, sound engineering, and lighting design places storytelling at the heart of her music. Her sound blends organic techno, cinematic ambient, and broken rhythms into evolving journeys that range from body-engaging grooves to contemplative soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from the living world, she crafts imagined acoustic ecosystems using field recordings, processed vocals, and synthetic textures. Her live AV project won Belgium’s Concours Circuit 2025, featuring scenography co-created with Lénaïc Pujol. She released her debut EP on Prague’s YUKU label in late 2025 and hosts a residency on Kiosk Radio. Additionally, she performs in live improv projects (Soum-Soum, Pölen Biotope), co-directs the visual arts and performances program for La Vallée Électrique Festival, and composes original scores for theater, dance, and film.
