Johanna Saint-Pierre is a French singer, pianist and songwriter blending soul, funk, jazz and pop with a deeply personal touch. Between Paris, New York and London, she has collaborated with acclaimed musicians and producers including Grammy Award-winner Brian Bacchus (known for his work with Gregory Porter and for signing Norah Jones to Blue Note Records). Signed to the legendary New York label Ibadan Records, she released the now cult afro-house vinyl L’Âme Éternelle with Jephté Guillaume and has also been featured on powerful electronic and dance remixes. After performing at New Morning and touring in North Carolina, USA with intimate piano-and-voice performances, Johanna continues to create music carried by warmth, groove and emotional depth. Her album Just Me received the ISSA Award for Best International Female Album. Constantly releasing new albums, singles and remixes, she is an independent artist whose evolving universe keeps surprising audiences across soul, jazz and electronic scenes. Rare and limited CDs and vinyl editions are also occasionally available online and in selected record stores.
